A late night single car accident left one dead and 2 injured. The Keowee Fire Department responded with their heavy rescue truck to assist EMS and the Keowee Ebenzer Fire Department. The extended extrication was in an effort to remove the front passenger for transportation via helicopter by Med-Trans One. Unfortunately, the patients condition deteriorated and the patient was transported via ambulance to Oconee Medical Center.
