The Keowee Fire Department had a mid-morning response to a reported overturned vehicle in Lake Keowee. The vehicle which contained 2 male occupants, passed several signs indicating that the road ended and went over a small embankment landing upside down in approximately 2 feet of water. Both occupants removed themselves from the vehicle and were cold but uninjured. The Oconee County Haz-Mat team assisted in the clean up of a small oil and gas spill in the lake.
