The Command Staff of the Keowee Fire Department has selected Lt. Dan French as the 2009 Firefighter. This years award was presented at the annual Christmas dinner held in January each year at the Keowee Key Country Club.  Each year this decision is made based on dedication, ability, and overall attitude.  This decision was a tough one to make because the fire department has so many great memebers.  However, Lt. French was the stand-out member of 2009.  Thanks Dan for all of your hard work, dedication, and friendship.
