Fire Extinguisher Program

This program offers homeowners the opportunity to purchase quality fire extinguishers for a low cost.  These
extinguishers are available at the fire station during normal business hours. For service and refill please

Pre-Fire Plan Program

Pre-Fire Planning gives us the opportunity to meet with homeowner in their home. We gather important information such as the layout, hazards to firefighters, and emergency contact information. This service is available on Tuesday and Thursdays at 9:30am or 1:30pm. Appointments are necessary. Please call the station at 864 944 8666 to schedule.

Lockbox Program

The lockbox program is designed to assist the fire department in gaining access to your home or business in the event you no one is there to allow us access during an emergency. The box is similar in design to a real estate lockbox and the fire department maintains complete control of the access key. The boxes are available at the fire department during business hours for $40.00.

Hands on Fire Extinguisher Training

This program gives individuals a chance to learn in a classroom setting the basics to operating a fire extinguisher. Near the end of the class, participants are given the opportunity to extinguish a live controlled stove fire under the guidance of fire department personnel. This program is offered each year at our open house during Fire Prevention Week. (2nd Tuesday in October) We will also be glad to schedule a class for groups of 5 or more.
